When parents & in-laws drop by to see the baby, go do some chores! You know it’s the only time you’re going to get to do the dishes, take the trash out, and the like.
I know it’s not a glamorous job, but someone’s got to do it. I don’t know about other mommies but my dishes sit in the sink all day and I actually want to clean up… But baby says no.
His hunger, diaper, & temperature control is king.
So be kind to your partner and your sense of cleanliness & take advantage of this precious time when people come over.
They’re here for the baby, not you. (Usually.)
