My son’s bright, toothless smile lights up my day. He wakes up laughing.
He giggles in his sleep. He breaks to smile during a feed.
Is this real? He literally laughs at everything. Not all the time though. Why, that would be too easy.
He laughs out of nowhere, without calculation. It’s the sweetest thing.
I think I’m getting an inflated sense that I’m funny because I benefit from his laughter. I don’t think he actually gets my jokes though.
