Celebrating grandpa’s 85th birthday today, along with baby’s 10th week.
Enjoyed Kome’s buffet on Junipero Serra in Daly City. I like to fill up on sushi & dim sum. I like the beef stew noodle soup too.
I particularly like the hand rolls. You can choose from California handroll, Spicy Tuna, Unagi & fresh Salmon. I ask for no rice so I can eat more! I know, brilliant.
Everyone enjoyed the variety of food & we do buffet in a judgment free zone. Eat as much as you like. The baby won’t judge.
In fact, he slept through most of it. Besides one diaper change & feeding, baby basically allowed himself to be passed around, swooned at, without making a peep. My child is an angel.
After we left he was alert & cooing. I like to think he saves his awake time for me. Maybe he wanted mom to eat more because he wasn’t all too hungry while we were there.
Baby enjoyed sharing a celebration with his great grandfather! Grandpa even entertained wearing his birthday button I made especially for him. He only mildly complained.
Big cousin loved seeing baby. Special moments shared among ambitious plates of food.
