For a person without a baby, a stop at the pharmacy would be quick and easy (most of the time).
For a new mommy, it’s like going to Disneyland… In the way that there’s a lot of planning, not in the way that’s fun.
To prepare, baby had to be fed, changed, properly clothed & those steps repeated for mom.
Now I’m here, finally waiting for my turn to pick up some medicine.
It was a long debate whether to take the stroller or the baby carrier for the seemingly short trip.
Unfortunately, my pharmacy is rather popular. I chose the carrier because it would be easier to get the baby ready for our trip.
Now someone is coughing and I am very anxious to get baby out of here.
The stroller would have the advantage of protecting baby from any possible droplet exposure from a stranger’s cough.
Certainly I was aware I might have to wait in a line but would have anticipated such a long one? I guess I should have.
Please, dear Lord, don’t let anyone have measles that also needs something from the pharmacy two hours before I showed up.
