My baby needs to feed so often, that getting out of bed is sometimes pointless.
Good thing I have leftover dim sum that I eat out of the take out container in between feeds.
Luckily I did some chores to feel accomplished today. I have my sights set on cleaning the top of my dresser, so I can feel like this was a productive Monday.
Baby, however, has other plans.
He insists on back-to-back feedings which means mom will not have a healthy list checked off today.
I suppose that’s what’s motherhood is all about.
Learning to let go or be dragged.
A baby has their own agenda: to eat, sleep & be changed on their schedule. This has been like a two hour feed. I should have known better because I could have been two-thirds through The Titanic by now.
And this is okay. In fact, it’s kind of magical.
Baby is running in instincts that are unpolluted by someone else’s standards or expectations.
Perhaps we could all learn a lesson from babies.
Come as you are & poop when you like.
