Noms

Prince cooking

The little prince made his way over to Prince Cooking on Noriega Street.

The cute little shop has purple velvet chairs and cute, dainty dishes for their generously sized dishes & desserts.

I tried their Unagi & orzo dish which was tasty & what you would expect at an Asian dessert shop. The orzo was overcooked but I didn’t mind because they made up for it with their sweets.

The soup, which was pictured as a creamy green, came out looking like a wheatgrass shot. I had the spinach & crab soup & I doubt there is any cream in it other than the few specks on top. I ate it because it tasted healthy.

For a sweet finish, I had the coconut noodle with fruit in coconut cream & the mango silken tofu with ice cream. Both were a dream. Actually I ate these alongside the savory dishes, so that sweetened the pot all the more.

A perfect sphere of ice cream with mango drizzle. The taro, plain mochi & mango complement the coconut & sweet tofu well.

The place puts an emphasis on healthy and delicious cooking. Their desserts are not too sweet which make them appetizing for their Asian fans.

I can’t wait to come back to try their other desserts. While I was there, two other moms with their little boys came in. Guess this is the place to be.

My little boy slept through the whole ordeal, of course.

The prince dreams of milk.
