A walk in the park

Turns into an adventure for a snack. What’s new?

We didn’t actually make it to the park. We were across the street from it. But a detour took us sniffing for something for the belly.

Ah, Crepe Temptations. And tempting you are. I opted for the savory Philly cheesesteak crepe in honor of my BFF’s upcoming nuptials. Congrats AC!

The 15 minute wait was sort of worth it. It was filled with meat, cheese, onions & in lieu of the bell peppers they were out of, sub in artichokes. I know real cheesesteaks don’t have this stuff but it’s California; they put whatever they want in there.

Definitely was no Pat’s. I’m hands down a Pat’s girl. Gino’s has that sign that says you should speak English which I find offensive. It takes courage to have an accent so piss off.

It was tough with baby because we were all geared up & dressed for 60 degrees but in the sun it felt almost 68 degrees. What a summer in San Francisco! Enter sarcasm.

In line with all things cheesy, a flavorful chicken avo sando was had at home. That Boudin sourdough is the way to go. Props to HB for the home deli.

Due to a sore tummy, tried some ginger ale. Tasted good but alas, my tummy still rumbles.

What to do baby? He cries his sympathies.

Easier to catch a near smile than a cry these days. Not that he doesn’t cry, just that I’m less inclined to take his photo when the poor little guy needs some love.
