I woke up at 4:48 a.m. because baby needed to eat & I was plotting your breakfast.
I was ready to fetch breakfast at 5 a.m. but baby had other plans. He oscillated from sleep & feeding until a little after 7 a.m., when I finally made my escape.
Uncle Benny’s knows how to make an impressive donut. I know you have a curiosity for cronuts but this lush maple bacon donut will have to do.
A coffee & birthday cake pop run later (& a warm pineapple bun for me), we were in the home stretch.
To me, nothing beats lox, cream cheese, cumcumber & tomato. On a jalapeño bagel, to make it special.
A little tiramisu cake later, I was ready for home. Thanks baby for sleeping softly so I could sneak out in between your meals.
