Seaside

Baby’s first trip. He tolerated the car ride like a boss.

I snuck away and took a swim while baby was napping in the telly. My first post pregnancy swim. Feeling good.

I even went and got nachos & baby didn’t even notice I was gone.

Luckily auntie watched baby so we could explore seaside dining options.

A canceled Bistro Moulin reservation later, we end up at Cibo, an Italian eatery boasting art & live music.

A little hangry, stumbling upon Cibo was like approaching a mirage in the desert.

The goat cheese beet salad was the best I’ve had. The goat cheese was so creamy, it was like eating a little slice of heaven. I’m pretty sure heaven tastes like cheese.

The beef & lobster carpaccio looked prettier than it tasted. Some salt helped.

The three kind gnocchi was a delight. The pesto shrimp was deliciously creamy & rich. The two type filled gnocchi were also good with the meat sauce being the winner.

The flat iron steak was decent but I wasn’t crazy about it. Ain’t no Bobo’s, that’s for sure.

The kicker was the strategically placed Pinkberry across the street.

Pinkberry has a new lemon lime flavor that’s tart & quite refreshing. I am a Pinkberry purist so original all the way.

Ain’t she a beaut? Tasted it too.
