Loads of goodies today. At Earthbar, we discovered their muscle up shake, a supposed meal replacement with almond butter, protein powder & the like.
We drink it like a regular drink however. Not for muscle gain, just for kicks.
Pretty tasty little bugger. Thick texture & satisfying. I’d drink this all the time but then I’d just bulk up–not a good look for me. It happened before when I started protein shakes in the height of my workout days; sheer bulk without enough body for it to spread out on. A sad sight.
An impromptu family dinner at China First on Clement. Forgot about this little Asian haven. Walnut prawn smothered in mayo. Enough as an app.
Our beef stew with daikon went over well.
Tender tendon; good for grandpa and his limited (read: nonexistent) teeth.
Our greens with chinese sausage & bacon. Like breakfast for dinner. That’s sarcasm (it doesn’t translate well written, sorry).
Sweet & sour fish. A touch too sweet. Dig the bell peppers though.
Grandpa’s must order: salty fish fried rice. Too salty. Guess it pairs well with the too sweet. Glad the gramps can chow down!
Little sister & I plot for a crepe at Genki Crepes next door. Egg puffs for the fam for their patience waiting on us.
Mixed fruit & cream. Simple, pure & just right.
Baby was a little champ today, handling life with finesse & grace. Meaning, he slept good today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
