A happy dim sum brunch with family today. Baby was a little gem, as always.
First a walk around Cliffhouse, to let baby soak in some rays. Through the shield and comfort of his stroller, of course.
Here he is, a happy little clam.
Of the dim sum highlights are the beef organs which we all cheered for in unison.
The tripe was a tad overdone, but nothing to gripe about. I intended a rhyme. I’m cool.
Dim sum usual suspects. Baby got to eat too during the early round.
Later after baby had a very successful four month well baby visit with his wonderful doc, we snacked at our go-to Panera Bread. Cheese pastry for auntie later.
Creamy chicken & wild rice soup with steak & blue cheese salad. A light snack for the road home. Tropical hibiscus iced tea to give mommy the boost needed to carry baby & all his gear.
Baby took his second round vaccines like a champ. A little cry and some wimpers later, it was nothing a soothing snack could fix.
Cultured little bugger. I don’t think he knew he was next to a statute, however.
I’m feeling real good as a new mommy. Four months in and we definitely have our groove. I say for any new job, that’s about right. My new boss is tiny but mighty… Cute. Go team moms!
