Since baby’s little stunt last night, we ended up doing a Trader Joe’s run & dinnering at home.
Filet mignon, green beans & mushroom pesto ravioli. Not quite Indian, but a very happy & delicious meal.
Earlier we had a Togo’s sandwich. Pastrami Reuben. I do love my Reubens.
I hadn’t had Togo’s since my college days. The UCLA cafeteria had many delightful options. Once my college roommate and I ate a wrapped sandwich we found in the caf bathroom. We’re not proud but I never forgot. I should probably stop reminding people about that. (I emphasize that it was wrapped so you don’t think I’m some kind of sick individual.)
Also, in exciting news, we picked up some of baby’s first foods that he’ll be trying soon.
Veggies before fruit the pediatrician urges. Yes sir!
Baby will attempt “solids” (really nothing solid about it) at five months. High chair at six months. All perfectly orchestrated. The mark of new & nervous parenthood.
Look at these tiny yummy little mint ice cream sandwiches! TJ has it going on! Twelve in a box. I suppose they were prepared for one sitting servings. How thoughtful.
Lastly, here’s a picture of the little one early on. Such a tiny thing.
How much has changed since then. Rapid development. So much sleep. For him, I mean. I wish him never to grow but that’s silly. I can’t wait to attend his med school graduation. Sigh.
