Surf & turf

First comes the turf. Tasty. I learned that steak increases milk production so here we are.

The surf comes from our local haunt, Yum Yum Fish. I wish they had a frequent buyer’s card like boba tea because I would have earned a free platter of sashimi by now.

Salmon nigiri has been our thing lately. White tuna was meh. It’s the super white we like. Call it the-butterfish-belongs-in-my-stomach-fish.

Unagi & kappa roll is a nice little flavor injection. Spicy tuna roll is for lovers.

Since snack time consisted of scones & sweets, this was a good balance of heavy protein.

  Tuna meets the cow.

Baby ate first, of course. Here he is patiently waiting for the start of solids:

Since he is not quite ready for the high chair, we have decided the start of solids in a couple of weeks will commence in above pictured Bumbo.

It is a scary thing, as baby is top-heavy. We will manage with nervous supervision.

Ah, also Bumbo is a South Africa product; reminds me of Sir Vince abroad. Thinking of you! Hope you’re well, Vincent, hero of sister.
