Oh yeah. Here goes another gem to go on baby’s Stanford admissions essay.
The kid fed himself naan tonight at a tender four months. He deftly pinched a piece of naan and deliberately stuffed said naan into his face.
Grandma & I squealed with delight. The random stop at Naan & Curry at Serramonte mall was the best decision of the night.
The lamb curry was quite good. A hint of spice even grandma could tolerate.
The star is the BBQ chicken breast that was surprisingly tender. An exceptional value too. $7 for naan, rice, chicken & salad. Plus, provided baby with his first food. Absolutely priceless.
Lunch was good as well. A healthy choice at Pieology with Calmsy.
Pizza designed by him & salad by me. Notice the salad has basically everything. I cannot do any different ever at that place.
Auntie pointed out that babies don’t self-feed until 8-12 months. Baby will be 5 months on Saturday for the official start of solid foods.
Clearly he couldn’t wait. The naan doesn’t lie.
Also, in the day of victories, my auntie got her SSI reinstated at last! Oh the collective effort of the unyielding and determined. Thanks to the ALJ for doing justice. See? The law isn’t perfect but it does do good.
Let us bask in the victories we have. Those are plentiful.
