Baby firsts

Happy five

The start of a fabulous eating career. Baby did great in his first official solid food: oatmeal. Though mixed with breastmilk & quite runny, this still constitutes as his first “solid.”

Kid did great in his Bumbo chair & exceeded my expectations on how much he would eat. I made a small portion to start, heeding his ped’s warning of not expecting baby to take spoonfuls in the beginning.

Well, he took many spoonfuls & I had to make more to satiate the little guy’s impressive appetite.

Soon after with his all female supporting crew, he had his first mum mum cracker. I tasted it for quality assurance. Assured.

A big day for us after much activity at home. A visit to the sweet home of Mr. Player & Mr. Klein in their “cooling” off party, where we wished them well on their journey east.

Here are our party favors:

Succulents for a charmed farewell. The teacup succulent is little sister’s. Excellent choice.

A great discovery in Trader Joe’s pizza.

Thought to be vegan before discovering its origins.

A sad day for the Filipino community & for Daly City as Manny generously gave Floyd the welterweight world title. I am very sad over this loss.

At least we had the delight of the company of our friends & delicious snacks. The sushi bake was on point. Much consumed & not well documented due to my intensity over the fight.

Baby also held his bottle solo earlier in the day while with daddy!

Winning isn’t everything, right? Well, with this kiddo it feels like a win every time.
