Trouble

Poor little Eggsy woke up feverish. Feverish enough to warrant worry; not feverish enough to warrant medicine or a visit to his ped.

After a diaper change & before he got a new shirt, Eggsy tried on his dad’s tie.

Eggsy is a little skeptical about the workforce. He is particularly shocked by the U.S. & its failure to take care of working families. Oh wait, that’s me.

After a visit to Tani’s Kitchen in Westlake, I got my fill of chicken teriyaki donburi. This chicken is no joke. It is tender enough for those without teeth. (Soon, baby.)

We went at the most perfect time: 2:30 p.m. on a Thursday. People waited in line after us but we went straight to a table.

Calmsy had the hamburger patty curry which I noted was cooked to a perfect crisp & slattered in curry.

A very satisfying visit to Tani’s, indeed.

Later, Eggsy went for a spin.

A confident new driver. Not being able to reach the gas petal didn’t even deter him.

Just kidding. Babies can’t drive! That’s ludicrous!

He sat like this in the back seat:

The cheek to bear ratio is a little off. Alas, the shoulder protector straps are ill fitting for this child. At least we attempted removal of his newborn insert for the car seat! Baby steps to a less baby existence.

No matter what, you’ll always be my special little guy.
