Gratitude

Feelin’ good

Picking up dinner tonight, the lady at the register said my baby really looked like me.

Usually people say Eggsy looks more like dad. Of course I know he is my boy but hearing it from a stranger who clearly has no interest in lying to me, makes me feel great.

I am constantly working on my gratitude practice & being a mother gives me a lot of material. Like a good comedian, the day-to-day provides a plethora of gratitude stuff.

My family is crazy & amazing. My mom, beyond belief, is amazing. Such effortless caring. My sister embodies these traits of strength & grace too. A friend mentioned how my family isn’t actually that big & I forget. We feel big.

Thank you to friends that share their enormous talents with us. Your stories, pictures, company & never ending adventures in food, travel, & homebodiness is a comfort & joy.

I think parents are the ultimate advocates. Unyielding love & devotion to the betterment of their children (usually). Funny you don’t go to school for this sort of thing. At least this kind of education doesn’t end.

Thank you family. Thank you friends. I wish I could have the right poignant words to express the depth of my gratitude for you.
