After baby’s six month well visit, we trekked over to Japantown in hopes of realizing our udon dreams.
Udon Mugizo is my favorite spot in Northern California for udon. The beef dishes in particular are good picks.
TB’s recommendation of the Niku Bukkake Udon was quite good. The cold udon with soft boiled egg makes me happy. I like chewy noodles.
Since we arrived an hour before the restaurant’s opening, we had to pacify our rumbly tummies with crepes from Sophie’s.
The beef donburi with mini udon is my favorite dish at Mugizo.
The beef has a lovely seasoning but today’s cuts were thicker than usual.
The curry katsu donburi was so great. The sauce. Oh god. The sauce.
Eggsy is growing beautifully. Poor little guy got his six month shots. Yay for immunization, boo for the cries.
Got to get this kid cookin’ so I can be his taste tester.
