We happily waited an hour for seats at Griddle Fresh in Noe Valley. Well, we were happy when the food came.
This wonderful brunch establishment is worth the wait. Even with a squirmy baby, we toughed it out.
The soufflé pancakes are divine. Truly a gift from God. Light, fluffy, & soufflé-y. We went with the banana mascarpone ones though the lemon ricotta with strawberry coulis was very tempting.
I had the Parma Benedict with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes & chive hollandaise. The epitome of brunch done right. Eggs: good. Meat: good. Perfectly thin & cripsy hash browns.
HB had the GF special of the herbed fried chicken. Perfectly fried, crunchy & smothered with gravy.
Smity had the six hour corned beef hash that was tender, filling & a winner.
Poached eggs for all! A wasabi cream for a kick.
The matcha green tea latte was good albeit nothing matching the quality of brunching meal options. I can’t wait to come back here. Maybe next time I’ll bring a book for the wait. Nevermind, I have a baby! I don’t have time to read! That’s just silly.
