Afterparty

After a big night out celebrating the Phus, our afterparty consisted of coming home to see our babe.

Thank goodness for the sweet Smity for watching over Eggsy. Though the poor little guy cried himself to sleep, he was in good spirits upon our return.

Our Sunday brunch was a homemade one. Whole wheat banana pancakes, fluffy eggs & sausage. Fruit, avo, & carrots too.

Eggsy has yet to try his namesake. I was eager to introduce this to him but as a highly allergic food, we’re holding off for a bit.

Artichoke jalapeño sausage for the win. Spicy & full flavored.

After taking Guang Guang out for a walk around his favorite Chinese stores, it was time for us to eat again.

Bentos from Spiral for these sisters.

Smee had salmon two ways & beef teriyaki. We pool our resources naturally & had ourselves a little feast.

Beef ribs, tempura & chicken teriyaki for me. We like protein. We like food. Good food.

Baby has been growing like crazy lately. Since he is doing more solids, the breastfeeding sessions are lessening so my time doing this is more limited.

Ah, the changing & constant evolution of the human condition. How beautiful & bittersweet to watch its growth & flowering.

The chippering of my son is a bird’s song I cannot resist. Every child is magical & mine has wings.

Cheesy, I know. I don’t care either. I always adored cheese.
