A perfect day yesterday with dim sum with family & a walk through San Francisco’s rose garden.
Baby looks up to Tai Guang. My grandpa has the best taste in dim sum. My family always gets the gai lan for me. It’s the staple dim sum vegetable.
Instead of a plate of liver (our usual), we got the liver rice noodle. This is superb. The liver at this Outer Richmond establishment is tender, moist & pleases our whole table.
After full bellies, we meandered over to the garden where the roses were in full bloom. The colors were spectacular.
It’s hard to ignore beauty so vibrant. Baby slept through the walk which was good since it was so bloody cold yesterday! Ah, San Francisco in the summer. How quaint.
Stopping to smell the roses. How lucky we are to be surrounded by such goodness.
Little sister has a finger on all of this blooming. She’s about to take flight! Well she’s already gone for now but she’ll be back before the big farewell! Hello, Huskies!
Later at home we have burgers stuffed with egg, avo, mushrooms, onions, truffle oil on a brioche bun. I love brioche but the bun wasn’t heavy enough to house all the substantial filling.
It’s amazing we get to eat so many meals & snacks a day. It’s like God wanted us to be happy. I’m pretty sure he does.
