Preparing for Smity to take flight, I joined sister & Princess Ariana at their dinner at Brenda’s.
Soul food is just that: for the soul. The crawfish beignets were as delicious as I remembered. What I forgot was how sizable they were. Like a savory donut stuffed with cheese & crawfish.
Luckily the girls are into sharing so we had the ribs with mac & cheese.
Their special of spicy pasta with seafood was a hit with us! Piping hot, perfectly spiced.
We opt out of traditional dessert & have their shrimp & grits as our closer.
This dish is a gem here & it stuffed us to the brim. We like it saucy.
Look upon these two diamonds. Full of wit, charm, & undeniable beauty, whoever is lucky to spend time with them better treat them like queens.
Back home, Princess A has a piece of mom’s birthday cake. How fitting that all these royal ladies eat cake full of roses.
Wishes for eyes to see the blessings around us & hearts to be patient to discover all the good one is deserving.
Careful though, sometimes it’s a bumpy road.
What is life but not an adventure to end out of breath screaming, what a ride! I read a friend wrote that once & it is so true. Let’s have at it! It being life, of course. Cheers to new journeys & continuing great ones.
