Gratitude

Sweetness

Pulling Eggsy’s size four diapers to investigate if they fit his almost 19 pound frame, I am overcome with a feeling of gratitude.

The space to choose a size for your baby’s diapering needs, buy more if needed or desired is a gift. We recently went diaper crazy & ordered what we hoped to be all or most of the rest of baby’s diapers for the rest of his diapering career. This is clearly a parenting win.

In other news, baby had a chunky pear sauce (& avo).

I think he was into it.

My sweets look like this. A white chocolate chip mac nut pzookie from BJ’s.

Their spicy Cajun pasta was just alright. Doesn’t compare to Brenda’s spicy pasta.

Wings at BJ’s are okay but aren’t as satisfying as we remembered. At least their seasonal magnolia’s peach beer was refreshing. You know what beer looks like. I like crisp summer beers.

For snack time, The Melt in Burlingame has the Italian Job. Cheese & mushroom with tomato on spicy garlic bread.

I like the concept of The Melt. Who doesn’t like grilled cheese sandwiches? But these are fairly lackluster. The cheese in the middle isn’t melted. Verdict? Good for snacking but not the holy grail of grilled cheeses.

Here’s the little troublemaker who’s yet to have his first taste of melted cheese. Oh, there’s a whole world waiting for you!
