We’ve had some hot hot days by the bay recently. To keep up the heat, we had Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in North Beach.
The Cal Italia pizza was a table favorite. Also the gold medal food network challenge pizza champions winner. Fig preserves give the hint of sweetness that lifts ordinary pizzas into the realm of greatness. No sauce & Italian gorgonzola make for a very savory treat. I shared the inside of the soft crust with Eggsy.
The famous margherita pizza was perfect baby food.
The soft crust made perfect for those with two teeth & mostly gums. Apparently this restaurant makes only 73 of these pizzas per day. Huh.
The fried artichoke looked like a vegetarian friendly drumstick. Light batter, delicious & an obvious small portion. Baby ate the insides.
Since this charmed pizza visit we’ve made our way to Seattle! Horray for new adventures!
