Noms

Catch of the bay

This little jewel has been right below our noses. Pacific Cafe in the Outer Richmond has been here forever. We never bothered to try it.

Almost went across the street but instead we opted for something new. We’re glad we did.

They have free-flowing wine for those waiting for a table! I enjoyed it quickly & it made me happy.

Baby made lots of friends while waiting too. Eggsy had an older gentleman professing his love for him. Quite sweet.

The crab cakes were huge & stuffed with, well, crab. They mean business around here.

Baby enjoyed his bread & oyster crackers. Most of it ended up on the floor.

My favorite was their oyster bisque. I’ve been lucky with my soups lately. Rich & creamy, this bisque is one for the books.

I was less impressed with the chowder, especially having the food memory of Pike Place so fresh in mind.

The crab stuffed sole was so divine. The sauce is surprisingly light. The table of 3 next to us all ordered this, so we knew it was good.

My parmesan halibut was tasty with a crispy, parm-y crust. Like baby, I was stuffed to the gills! (Get it?)

The next day we found the holy grail of sandwiches. Little Lucca in SSF also had a massive line but it is worth it.

We ate the fire roasted steak sandwich in the car, where no one would see our savage sandwich takeover. This sandwich was was big as my thigh. Excellent.

In other news, I am sick. The first time since before I was pregnant. Womp womp.
