Baby has surpassed the need for signing for milk; he can articulate his need.
Suddenly understandably vocal, baby intently asks for what he wants. Attention with Chewbacca noises & plenty of babbling. Pretty sweet.
He is also immensely more interested in playtime. No longer a watcher, he is a doer. He wrangles with the big kids at the playground.
Intentional footed PJs for playtime to eliminate the need to look for lost socks. Or shoes. We’re still working on leaving the house with shoes on.
We filled our bellied with AYCE Japanese at MonsterChef in Half Moon Bay. A very filling meal yet somewhat not as good as previous times. Baby ate quite a bit (Eggsy likes his eggs two ways: steamed in a tea cup & as tamago).
Swinging with Popo proves to be a highlight. He was once timid on the swing (ever so briefly) but now he lives for the thrill.
To refuel, we snack at Creations, probably my favorite dessert cafe. Egg puffs, coconut with stewed bird’s nest & housemade ice cream with mochi in fresh mango juice.
Cheers to MYREM, Inc for holding a special night at Southpaw in the Mission. Smoked jackfruit was an interesting dish. Heavy on the vinegar, I was glad to try. Proud of the progress in the fight against evictions.
Yesterday we had a special afternoon watching my mom play the piano at a convalescent home. Eggsy was a star! Everyone delighted in seeing him dance to grandma’s music. Sweet to see my aunt too.
We ended the night at Smashburger. Sweet potato fries & a truffle mushroom burger on an egg bun. Quite good. The salad was alright.
I choose the Cobb in an attempt to give baby some egg. Fail. Baby had yams, fruit, beans & a few bites of pasta at home.
Here’s me 4 years ago, happily chomping at Straw. My dear girl Romy & I are still tight & who knows? Maybe we’ll have more to celebrate this year! Cheers to constant adventures & sleepless nights.
