Gratitude

Second wind

Baby is snoring next to me as we wait for Popo to get her lab work done. We just left baby’s hospital for his labs. A lot of medical stuff when everyone is healthy.

Eggsy has become more of a little rascal. Meals are messier & a little temper is peeking through. Aka childhood.

He is 15 months today! A small cry for bloodwork done. I congratulate his brave efforts.

We had a wonderful visit with our dear friend, Uncle Tim. So magical to stay connected despite being states apart. We’re grateful for your friendship, guidance & most importantly, your encouragement. #1 teacher for life!

Amid special visitors are delicious eats.

Seabass dumplings from Dragon Beaux is visually appealing & yummy.

I’m glad our brother Marc got to try Nick’s crispy tacos. That first bite of baja-style taco (fried fish) had me dying for more.

A somewhat impromptu visit to the zoo had us pretty hungry. Grateful for friends near & far whose company we always enjoy.

Self identified ohana. Going out in any capacity without child is a celebratory occasion. Mmm, tacos.

I feel braver as a mom & as me. Trying to capitalize on experiences & lessen the load of collecting physical things. Baby has enough stuff, as is.

People are constantly taking care of one another. “Wear your coat”, “take medicine”, “drive safely”, ect are little ways of saying I love you.

Things get hairy sometimes. Dirty, messy & sandy too. Actually all the time, for us. And it is all passing. Time to have some fun in the dirt. We’re catching our second wind.

Self feeding at his best.
