So a baby walks into a bar…

Moms & babies go to the bar at 11:30 a.m. All for the love of tacos.  At The Taco Shop at Underdogs, we get our tacos extra crispy, Nick’s Way.  This taco looks & tastes like Christmas. Comfort food in the fog

A Sunday adventure in Half Moon Bay brings us to Flavor California Comfort Food.  Baby was a touch fussy but tolerated the peas we smushed for him well. The savory egg scramble was decent but nothing to write home to mom about. Made with cream cheese, lots of shallots & garlic, this was filling but not special.  The Devil’s Slide burger with garlic fries was better. Medium rare cook & stuffed with jalapeños & garlic.…

New Beginnings

Eggs, eggs, eggs

Baby’s first diner

Little guy’s first time at Mel’s Diner. He enjoyed (I think) watching mom eat steak, eggs & a grilled vegetable salad. The medium rare steak was a perfect bridge for the transition from breakfast to lunch. (Did someone say brunch?) The salad was a bit lackluster but hey, at least I ate vegetables.
