Time for Thai

Marnee Thai, that is. My favorite here is the coconut hotcakes which is an appetizer but it feels kind of like dessert. It is garnished with coconut cream, corn & a touch of pumpkin & taro. Every girl’s dream. We also enjoyed their summer rolls which was a light addition to our lunch. The Tom ka soup was on point, with the coconut aroma, perfect for nice San Franciscan day. Dumpling Kingdom… In my Stomach!

Ahh… Shanghai Dumpling is tried and true. This popular hole-in-the-wall spot is often busy & shouting helps get superior service. Tonight’s takeout consists of spicy wontons with a delectable peanut sauce, spicy eggplant, green onion pancake (my fave), & dan dan noodles. I heat up my own sweet soy milk to go with the green onion pancake so I can dip to my heart’s content. I sop up the rest of the spicy peanut sauce…
